For over 30 years, I have had the privilege of caring for small animals and the families who love them. Being a veterinary surgeon has never been just a job to me – it has been a lifelong commitment to helping pets live happy, healthy lives and supporting their owners through every stage of that journey.
One of the hardest parts of my profession is helping families say goodbye. Although it is never easy, I believe it is also one of the most important things I can do. Every pet deserves a peaceful, gentle passing, surrounded by the people who have loved and cared for them throughout their life.
I offer a home euthanasia service because I know how much difference it can make. At home, pets are in familiar surroundings, free from the stress of travelling or visiting a veterinary practice. They can rest in their favourite place, with the people who mean the most to them.
Being at home also gives families the privacy and time they need. There is no waiting room, no feeling of being rushed, and no need to leave immediately afterwards. Everyone who wants to be there can share those final moments together, say goodbye in their own way, and take the time they need.
My aim is to make this difficult experience as gentle and peaceful as possible. I will guide you through every step with kindness, compassion and respect, so you can focus on what matters most – spending those precious final moments with your much-loved companion.
